Hockey Players Represent Somerset at West Academy Centre Tournaments
Ten Wells hockey players represented Somerset at the West Region’s Academy Centre Tournaments in Clifton, Street and Taunton over the last weekend of the Easter break.
Players were selected from the Junior Academy Centre (JAC) squad of players for each age group, following the JAC training camp the previous week. The Somerset teams played matches against Avon, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire; with the Somerset achieving particular success across the age groups.
The following players represented Somerset: Lewis and Max at U14; Harry and Amber at U15; Maxim, Callum, Jacob, Sam, Amelia and Jasmine at U16/U17 levels.
