Lulworth Cove Geography Trip

This week 32 pupils accompanied by four staff headed down to Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove on the annual Geography GCSE field trip. Pupils busied themselves collecting data to reconstruct the beach profile at Durdle Door Bay and then further data collection on pebble size and roundness and wave counts. At the Lulworth Cove visitor centre they learnt about how this remarkable feature, part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, was formed.
