Wells Cathedral School seeks to appoint a Houseparent of a mixed co-educational boarding house. The primary role of the Houseparent is to be responsible for the pastoral care of the boarders and day pupils in the House. The Houseparent has the overview of the pupils in their House and is expected to ensure that the pupils in their care can flourish in conjunction with academic staff, pastoral staff and other key staff related to their School lives, including members of the Music Department, where appropriate.

A Degree or equivalent qualification and experience of pastoral care of children in an educational environment and experience of working with children in a residential setting are essential for this role.
