Cedars Hall: Covid-19 Safety Measures

We are a Covid-safe venue and follow all the safety and hygiene measures set out in the Government’s recent updates, which means it’s safe for us to continue with all of our advertised activities. We will continue to review and manage any risks and to respond to any changes in Government guidance, keeping our staff trained and up-to-date as we go.

The measures we have taken include:

  • Reduced numbers of visitors and reduced seating in the main auditorium. We can only welcome visitors in groups of no more than two households (or support bubbles) to a maximum of six people. We have socially distanced seating available and you can only sit in the same seating area as someone from your own household/bubble;
  • Clear signage to guide people safely around the Hall;
  • Table service only for the bar;
  • Hand sanitiser stations at all entrances;
  • Regular and thorough cleaning of door handles, rails, toilets and other areas;
  • We are using disposable cups and only taking credit card payments at the bar;
  • There will be no cloakroom facilities at Cedars Hall so you will have to keep all your belongings with you;
  • A continuous flow of fresh air system is used in the main auditorium;
  • Increased hand washing of staff and staff health declarations.

Please help us do everything you can to help keep everyone safe by following the following measures:

  • Follow the directional signage around Cedars Hall;
  • Keep a safe distance between yourself, staff and other visitors not in your household/social bubble. Do not gather in groups of more than six;
  • Everyone needs to wear a face covering as a condition of entry. Certain people are exempt from wearing a face covering and, of course, you can remove it if you’re sitting at a table;
  • Use the hand sanitisers provided;
  • Please stay at home if you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19 (these are listed on the NHS website) or if you’ve recently been in contact with someone who has Covid-19. If you are unable to use your tickets because you are unwell, contact the Box Office at [email protected] in order to arrange a credit or a ticket swap.

NHS Test and Trace

It’s now mandatory for us to collect Test and Trace information for anyone coming into Cedars Hall, even if they’re just passing through. If you’ve booked an event here we’ll already have your contact information, but if you’ve not booked a ticket you will need to submit contact details for Test and Trace when you arrive. Please scan the QR code on entry to Cedars Hall.
