Year 12 Crime Squad Day

On Monday students in Year 12 were challenged to think outside the box as part of a Crime Squad day with Wiser Words. Students cracked codes to dispose bombs; pieced evidence together to rescue gorillas; and worked on their team strategy to steal the loot. New relationships were forged and students developed their critical thinking skills in preparations for the rigours of sixth form life.

Yamaha #FUTUREBEAT Regional Finals

Congratulations to Year 10 percussionist, Luke, who won the regional finals of the prestigious Yamaha #FUTUREBEAT competition for the South region, held in Cardiff over the weekend. From video submissions, 64 young drummers were selected to perform live on a Yamaha Drum Kit at eight Regional Finals, showcasing eight drummers.
