DESCRIPTION:This event (open to pupils in Years 5 and 6) forms the basis of our mathematics scholarships worth up to 10% of tuition (day) fees to pupils with truly exceptional mathematical ability and potential.Candidates enjoy a variety of activities as a taster of the kind of specialist classes that you will experience as part of the specialist maths scheme here at Wells. Candidates who demonstrate truly exceptional mathematical ability and potential may be awarded a maths scholarships worth up to 10% of tuition fees. DESCRIPTION:If music is your passion\, come and experience a day at Wells as a specialist musician! You will find out what it really means to focus on your music and gain a proper insight from our pupils about what it’s really like to be a specialist musician at Wells\, the only UK school that offers a government-recognised specialist music programme within an all-round school.During the day you will:shadow a pupil (same age and instrument where possible)attend a concertrehearse with current pupilsmeet key staff in your departmentPlease bring your own instrument.
