Please contact admissions to be added to the waiting list.Our Summer Be a Specialist for a Mathematician Day event (open to pupils currently in Year 5) offers a taste of life as a specialist mathematician where participants enjoy a variety of activities similar to what they would experience as part of the Specialist Mathematics scheme here at Wells. We would then make a recommendation about next steps based on whether we feel that you would be suitable for this enrichment programme. Please register at least a week in advance if you wish to attend by using the form below\, but please note that numbers are limited so you may wish to book early to avoid disappointment.I went to BAMFAD with my friends to see what it would be like if I were to become a Specialist Mathematician in Year 7. I think it’s a great way to learn challenging (but very fun) maths\, as well as a chance to meet new people who also love maths as much as you do. DESCRIPTION:If music is your passion\, see what life is like for a Specialist Musician at Wells\, the only UK school that offers a government-recognised specialist music programme within an all-round school. You will find out what it really means to focus on your music and gain a proper insight from our pupils. These days are aimed at pupils who have a real passion for music and have already reached a certain level of proficiency (not beginners). We would then make a recommendation about next steps based on whether we feel that you would be suitable for this enrichment programme. Please note that this event is now closed\, but you can use the form below to sign up for a future event.I went to BAMFAD with my friends to see what it would be like if I were to become a Specialist Mathematician in Year 7. I think it’s a great way to learn challenging (but very fun) maths\, as well as a chance to meet new people who also love maths as much as you do. DESCRIPTION:If music is your passion\, see what life is like for a Specialist Musician at Wells\, the only UK school that offers a government-recognised specialist music programme within an all-round school. You will find out what it really means to focus on your music and gain a proper insight from our pupils. These days are aimed at pupils who have a real passion for music and have already reached a certain level of proficiency (not beginners).
