SUMMARY:Music Auditions
DESCRIPTION:We encourage talented young musicians to audition for our specialist music scheme. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for your instrument/voice\, a desire to learn and have the commitment and dedication to strive to fulfil your musical potential. Grades and exam results are not essential entry requirements. Successful applicants may be awarded one of two different types of music scholarships: the Music and Dance Scheme (MDS) grant funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and our own Music Scholarships. Please note that due to the number of applicants and the limited number of scholarships available\, not all candidates awarded a specialist place will receive a scholarship.We strongly recommend that musicians attend one of our Be a Specialist Music for a Day events before applying for an audition whenever possible. If you would like an audition\, you will need to apply by Friday 13th January; our next auditions will be held on Saturday 18th March.  Please visit our Specialist Music page for more information or click here for our music audition application form.
