Enjoy an inspirational day of playing with some of the UK’s top teachers and performers in our 14th Century Quilter Hall.

    Tabea Debus, Recorder
    Tabea Debus

    Described by The Times as a charismatic virtuoso, Tabea Debus has performed widely across Europe, Asia, North and South America. She regularly performs with La Serenissima and Palisander among others. Tabea has performed at the Wigmore Hall and she is a regular guest BBC Radio 3’s In Tune and The Early Music Show. She has a keen interest in contemporary music and is passionate about teaching and outreach. Tabea was appointed recorder professor at the HMTM Hannover in 2024.

    Annabel Knight, Recorder
    Annabel Knight

    Annabel is widely regarded as one of the foremost recorder players and educators in the UK. She is founder member of chamber ensemble Passacaglia and recorder ensemble Fontanella with whom she has toured extensively across Europe and the US. She has played for many TV and Film soundtracks including for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Annabel is Head of Recorder at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and is now the Recorder Teacher at Wells Cathedral School.
