Mrs Ann Whalley Gummer

Ann Whalley Gummer is married to Andrew Gummer, a music lawyer, and has three children. She was bought up in Somerset and is an Old Wellensian. Ann has a BSC in Psychology from Exeter University and lived in London for 15 years before returning to Somerset with her family in 2002. Her children Frederick, Hector and Florence all joined Wells Cathedral School in the nursery and have remained throughout their school years. Ann was chair of the PA from 2014-2017 and is now a trustee of both the Foundation and the Chorister Trust. She also ran the sponsorship and fundraising for Wells Festival of Literature for several years. Professionally, Ann has worked in the area of insight and strategy for over 30 years. Her clients have spanned a wide range of sectors including many government departments, retail and private banks, telecommunication companies and charities.
