UK Maths Gold

Congratulations to eight pupils from Years 9 to 11 who achieved a Gold award in this year’s UK Intermediate Mathematical Challenge, and will take part in the follow-on round. The challenge consisted of a one hour paper which encouraged mathematical reasoning, precision of thought and fluency in using basic mathematical techniques to solve interesting problems. Congratulations to Year 11 pupils Julian, Cameron, Teddy and Sam; Year 10 pupil Jane; and Year 9 pupils Will, Andy and Danni.
