We’re Going on a Bear Hunt

Year 6 pupil, Ozzie, is part of the cast of an adaptation of the children’s classic story book Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen, an animated film which will be screened over Christmas on Channel 4. The film is being produced by Lupus Films, a London-based animation company who brought The Snowman to life in 2014. Ozzie plays Max, a four year old boy who sets off, with his siblings, on an intrepid bear hunt during which they encounter fields of long grass; thick, sticky mud; deep rivers and finally enter a big dark cave… We’re going on a bear hunt, We’re going to catch a big one. What a beautiful day! We’re not scared. Interviewed for a documentary about the making of Going on a Bear Hunt Ozzie said he loves playing Max, “Because he’s an adventurous boy who likes to explore outside and climb trees’. The music for the film has just been recorded by George Ezra at Abbey Road Studios.
