The sky’s the limit for Marianne

Year 13 singer songwriter Marianne has been awarded places to study song writing and performance at The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) and The British and Irish Modern Music Institute (BIMM), becoming the new Rock and Popular Music Department’s very first graduate. ACM singer songwriter alumni include amongst others, Ed Sheeran, whist Columbia Records’ new signing, George Ezra, is an alumni from BIMM. Many congratulations to Marianne. Marianne will be going into the studio over the coming weeks to record her first EP of original material. A new song penned by Marianne You Got It Bad, can be heard on the rock and popular music page of the new website. Marianne wrote the music and lyrics, plus scored out the band arrangement and the song was recorded by the senior school band with Marianne on lead vocals.
