Cordelia Performs in Messiah

Congratulations to Year 9 student Cordelia, who has been selected to perform the role of Treble in MESSIAH, a co-production between Bristol Old Vic and the English Concert Orchestra taking place at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre between Thursday 6th and Sunday 9th April 2017. The production will be directed by Tom Morris, OBE, producer and co-director of War Horse in the West End and on Broadway. It will be a stage production combining the music of Handel’s Messiah with a cast of actors, the glorious Erebus Ensemble and The English Concert’s brilliant Baroque orchestra, conducted by Harry Bicket. It also features internationally-renowned soloists Catherine Wyn Rogers and Julia Doyle. The cast includes celebrated English actor Toby Jones as the Leader. Cordelia’s role combines singing, acting and stagecraft and she will be lowered onto the stage at the Old Vic! She will be performing on 7th and 9th April, and understudying on 6th and 8th. She has rehearsals in Bristol and London over the next few weeks.
