Emma and Bandit join GB Team
Congratulations to Lower Sixth pupil Emma, who has been selected, along with her beautiful cocker spaniel Bandit, for the Great Britain Junior Dog Agility Team taking part in the European Championships in Switzerland in July.
Bandit (Kennel Club name, Black Knight of Wessex) is a five year old working cocker spaniel who Emma has trained since he was a puppy. Emma has been taking part in agility competitions for seven years and trains at Active Agility with her trainer Stephen Bartholomew in Clutton, Somerset. She trains at the club once a week and competes most weekends in the summer.
Last year Emma and Bandit won the Crufts Young Kennel Club Medium ABC Agility Competition and reached fourth place in the Young Kennel Club Agility Dog of the Year Competition.
