Magical Translation Winner

Congratulations to Upper Sixth pupil Beulah Adeleke, who entered two of the competitions run by the Creative Multiculturalism programme at the University of Oxford over the summer, and was awarded Highly Commended for one and chosen as the winner, with a cash prize, for the other.

Bea was highly commended for the Fabulous Translation competition, which involved the creation of a fable in a language of the pupil’s choice, with a typed English prose translation. She won the Magical Translation competition, which involved the creation of a modern day version of Cinderella in a foreign language, again, with a typed English prose translation.
