Modern Languages Film Nights

The first of this year’s film nights, run by the Department of Modern Languages, featured the award-winning Canadian French-language drama Monsieur Lazhar, a moving tale of immigration and education. Pupils thoroughly enjoyed the culturally-enriching opportunity to see the Oscar-nominated film, in French, but with English subtitles, and are looking forward to future film selections from the Modern Languages team.
