Hamlet A Level Trip

In mid-March Sixth Form pupils studying English Literature attended a conference on Hamlet at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The conference included lectures from leading Shakespeare scholars, the chance to work on the play from a performance perspective as well as a visit to Shakespeare’s birthplace.

The conference presented an exciting opportunity for pupils to extend and enrich their understanding of a set text for their A level exams and, moreover, perhaps the greatest play ever written!
