Intermediate Mathematics Challenge 2020

In February, 86 pupils from across Years 9, 10 and 11 sat this year’s Intermediate Mathematics Challenge, a 60 minute multiple choice test.

The top ten percent of achievers are awarded Gold Certificates by the UK Mathematics Trust. Eight of our pupils achieved this standard: Jason Kong, Ethan Turnbull and Yuhan Zhang in Year 10; Rocket Brooks, Joshua Christensen, Imogen Moorsom, Joshua Ng and Joel Sergeant in Year 11.

19 pupils were awarded Silver Certificates; whilst 11 were awarded Bronze. Ten pupils have been invited to take part in follow-on rounds.
