Wells Signs Up to BSA Covid-19 Safety Charter

Here at Wells, the safety and wellbeing of our pupils and staff is always our foremost concern; and during the Covid-19 crisis, we have been and will continue to implement numerous measures to ensure their safety.

We have taken great pleasure in looking after the children of Key Workers throughout the crisis, so far, and this week have been delighted to see the safe return of many pupils from the Reception, Year 1 and Year 6 classes. We are looking forward to many pupils from the Nursery coming back on Monday 8th June, and to having some face to face contact with our Year 10 and Lower Sixth pupils later in the month.

Looking ahead to the next academic year, we have been very pleased to sign up to the BSA Covid Safe Charter (see details here: https://www.boarding.org.uk/userfiles/bsa/Covid%20documents/Covid%20Safe%20Charter.pdf), which outlines a common framework of procedures that we will follow as a School. We will of course go above and beyond these guidelines if we think there is more that we need to do to protect our pupils and staff.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming new and existing pupils as soon as it is safe to do so.
