Aspects of Tragedy Seminar
On Monday, Wells Head of English, Neil Bowen presented at the online English in Action Aspects of Tragedy seminar for A level pupils.
Joined by three other leading experts, Neil’s lecture ‘Comparing and linking texts across genres and time’ equipped students with essential insights and guidance to enable them to achieve their very best in the examination.
Dr Sean McEvoy, currently a Bye Fellow of Murray Edwards College, University of Cambridge, Dr Simon Avery, Reader in nineteenth-century literature and culture at the University of Westminster, and Nick Hutchison, actor, director and lecturer at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, also gave illuminating lectures.
