Woody Sings At Song Academy Young Songwriter Showcase
After being named as the Song Academy’s Young Rising Star, Woody Collins (Year 9) was invited to perform at the Academy’s Young Songwriter Showcase in London last weekend.
Woody was the competition’s youngest entrant and was selected as the Young Rising Star over nearly 900 artists. Mr Leaker, Coordinator of Jazz & Popular Music Studies, said; “To perform for the Song Academy showcase is a richly deserved honour for Woody – his motivation for songwriting has never been stronger and becomes more mature in his approach by the day!”.
