Double bass masterclass with Leon Bosch
Prep School double bassists joined their Senior School counterparts for a masterclass with Leon Bosch on Monday 20th November.
Leon was overjoyed to spend quality time with all of the pupils who performed, and will look forward to hearing everyone again soon!
Mrs Rowntree, the Prep School’s Head of Music and Performing Arts, commented;
“It was a joy to see how excited our Prep School bassists were about the opportunity to take part in this masterclass with Leon Bosch. There are a growing number of through-School musical opportunities, further strengthening our links between the Prep and Senior School Music Departments, and a wonderful, cohesive collaboration is certainly emerging within our Bass Department. The senior bass players continue to nurture and encourage our younger musicians whilst providing great musical inspiration, as witnessed on Monday.”
