Christmas Cards for Care Homes
During the Advent Term, pupils from all around the School have been making and writing Christmas cards which we have had delivered this week to residents of local care homes, as well as the Lawrence Centre and Heads Up in Wells.
While some of the cards have been sent by individuals, Tutor groups or Houses, others have come from Christmas Card Competitions held in various parts of the School including the Pre-Prep, Prep School Geography and Senior School Modern Languages Department. As a result, some of the cards were based on the Christmas traditions of different countries, and included messages in foreign languages too.
Cllr Philip Welch visited the School to collect the cards and distribute them to local Care Homes, and we really hope the local residents enjoy reading (and translating!) them.
