Geology with U3A

Wells was recently visited by the U3A Geology group. After previous talks on Icelandic volcanoes and geological maps, this time the theme was ‘Geological thinking in 4 dimensions’. Egg boxes, Swiss Rolls and Play Dough all featured in hands-on learning about geological structures. Geology teacher Mr Rowley commented; “Once again it was a pleasure to host such enthusiastic students!”
