Wells winds compete at Rotary Young Musician Competition in Bristol
Elizabeth and Lisa (Lower Sixth) performed brilliantly in a Gala final concert for the Rotary Young Musician Competition in Bristol on Friday 19th January. The standard was exceptional and both performers played beautifully with Elizabeth taking second place overall.
Mr Leaker, Co-ordinator of Woodwind, comments, “I am always delighted that our pupils are able to take part in this wonderful competition. The standard is always so high and it is always held in a wonderful venue. Eli and Lisa are both stars of our Department and both played brilliantly. It was a close competition and we are very proud of Eli taking a close second place.”
