Sixth Form Stammtisch
In March, pupils from Lower and Upper Sixth German classes enjoyed their first Stammtisch, an informal gathering with the aim of connecting pupils studying German for their A levels with native speakers in the Sixth Form.
The event, organised by Mrs Alabiso, took place in the local Wells restaurant Da Luciano Pizzeria. Pupils took part in a German quiz and practised conversation on exam topics while eating pizza. It was also an opportunity to say goodbye to some of the native German speakers leaving the School at the end of the Lent Term.
