In memoriam of Chris Farthing
Chris was our lead piano tuner at Wells for over forty years and during that time made a tremendous contribution to the care and development of our piano stock.
Extremely highly regarded in the profession, Chris was a skilled craftsman of rare distinction and had a great passion for his chosen profession. He was also a very kind and generous man and will be greatly missed. He was enormously committed to his work at Wells and generations of Wells pianists benefitted from his dedication and professionalism.
We extend our sympathy and condolences to his widow, Clare, and his family.
