Year 9 trip to SS Great Britain
On Friday 14th June, pupils in Year 9 ventured forth to Bristol and went back in time to the 19th Century. There they explored both the life of one of Britain’s greatest engineers, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, and one of his greatest creations, the world’s first true Ocean Liner: the SS Great Britain. A fascinating trip for all completed with compliments from the museum staff on their good behaviour!
