European Day of Languages
To celebrate European Day of Languages, all Year 7 and 8 pupils have been invited to bake something European or in the shape of a European monument, a survey about how many languages are spoken in our School community has been sent to pupils and staff, and pupils were given a presentation about the importance of learning foreign languages during tutor time. Furthermore, there was a European menu offering in the dining hall including pizza and stroganoff, and the Senior School assembly prayer was delivered in five languages: Spanish by Orlando E (Lower Sixth), German by Xenia S-J (Lower Sixth) and English, French and Italian by Head of School Camilla H (Upper Sixth).
