Brass Band Day with the Tredegar Band
On Sunday 22nd September we hosted a Brass Band Day featuring the world famous Tredegar Band.
It was wonderful to see young brass players from over thirty schools coming together to make music in a free side-by-side workshop with the band under the direction of Ian Porthouse. In the packed-out afternoon concert, our very own Lower Sixth trombonist Morgan B featured as a guest soloist with the band, performing Gordon Langford’s Rhapsody for Trombone with bravura and aplomb! Huge thanks to Besson instruments for their support of the day.
