Old Wellensian Rising Stars concert

It was a pleasure to welcome back two Old Wellensians to launch the new concert series Rising Stars. Sejin Yoon (piano, 2021) and Maddie Perring (voice, 2019) wowed an appreciative audience in Quilter Hall on Saturday 21st September. These two are both winning prizes at the starts of their professional careers, and it is easy to see and hear why! Both performers were also so generous in their feelings towards their old School – both making a point of being delighted to be returning to where it all started to take off for them. Huge thanks must go to the Wellensian Association for supporting the concert and the series going forward.
