RSC actor Edward Bennett gives inspiring Drama workshop
A level and GCSE Drama and Theatre Studies pupils were captivated by each having a masterclass in acting and textual analysis led by RSC actor Edward Bennett, with a focus on the power of rhetoric in interpretation and performance. The day was both inspiring and educational, offering pupils a deep dive into the art of persuasive communication.
They were also fascinated by Edward’s behind-the-scenes stories from the film and television industry, gaining valuable insights into his experiences in projects such as playing many lead roles at the RSC (Hamlet and Love’s Labour’s Won) and recent film projects, including Napoleon (with Joaquin Phoenix) and the latest Marvel film, The Fantastic Four.
