Movember
We are proud to be supporting the global Movember movement this year as part of our efforts to raise awareness of the physical and mental health and wellbeing needs among all young people, and to raise funds for organisations who provide crucial support.
Although the Movember movement’s primary focus is to raise the profile and health needs of boys and men – an area historically that has been rarely talked about – this is an opportunity for the whole School community to understand the role we can play in supporting the mental and physical health needs of everyone. As part of our awareness and fundraising efforts, staff and boys in the Upper Sixth have been invited to grow moustaches, and ideally be sponsored for doing so to raise funds for Movember charities. Upper Sixth girls have also been invited to wear ties to show their support.
