Sixth Form enrichment: Freshta Karim talk
On Friday 15th November, our Sixth Form were delighted to welcome Freshta Karim who gave an inspirational talk about her work in Afghanistan.
Freshta, a University of Oxford graduate, turned her back on Politics to start a charity, Charmaghz, which takes disused buses and turns them into mobile libraries so that the children of Kabul, particularly girls, have access to books and reading.
Head of School Camilla H said she thought it was ‘the best’ enrichment session she had ever attended!
