Christmas cards for care homes

During the Advent Term, pupils from all around the School have been making and writing Christmas cards which we have had delivered this week to residents of local care homes, with any remaining cards being donated to the Mayor’s Christmas Eve lunch for people who will be alone on Christmas Day. Hundreds of cards were collected by former Mayor of Wells, Philip Welch, some of which were based on the Christmas traditions of different countries and included messages in foreign languages. We really hope local residents enjoy reading (and translating!) them.
