Carol-a-thon 2024
Singers and brass players from Wells visited eight different centres around the city as part of Carol-a-thon 2024 to bring some festive cheer! Carols were sung in Stoberry Park Primary School, The Lawrence Centre, St Thomas’ Church, as well as in Abbeyfield, Crandon Springs and Fletcher House care homes. The joyful spirit of our pupils was wonderful to see and the enthusiastic Christmas cheer they brought was enjoyed by everyone.
It has also been a busy week for our brass players, who played carols at Torrwood MHA care home as well as helping to make the Bishop’s Palace Christmas Illuminations extra special on Thursday 12th December. The brass quintet played for this year’s Illuminations inside the ancient Palace itself, next to a roaring log fire.
A very merry Christmas from all of our fabulous musicians who have shared their talents with the local community.
