Lily’s rehearsal with James B. Wilson
Award winning composer James B. Wilson visited Wells on Wednesday 12th December to rehearse a new work that has been generously commissioned by the Cherubim Music Trust for Lily O (Upper Sixth). The new work is for flute, piano, electronics and visual immersion and it will be premiered in Cedars Hall on 18th January 2025.
Head of Woodwind Mr Leaker says, “This is an amazing opportunity for flautist Lily who is a Cherubim Artist. James is an original, contemporary composer who incorporates modern elements into his creative works. Huge thanks also to Wells staff pianist Ms Walker for her support in this project.”
