OW makes debut with New York Philharmonic
We were delighted to hear that OW Kieran White (2008) has made his US debut as tenor soloist with the New York Philharmonic in their annual festive performances of Handel’s Messiah.
Kieran was a former Chorister in the Cathedral Choir, recording many solos and twice reaching the finals of BBC Chorister of the Year. Later on in his time at Wells, now as a tenor, he was part of the School Chamber Choir that toured to Beijing and Hong Kong in 2027. He furthered his studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Royal Academy of Music, and has since forged a career as a hugely successful, and multi-award winning tenor in Baroque music. He returned to Wells earlier in 2024 to sing the role of the Evangelist in Bach’s St John Passion with the Cathedral Choir.
