OWs enjoy Royal Over-Seas League triumphs

The final round of the Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL) Annual Music Competition has wrapped up and we are thrilled to share that soprano Maddie Perring, OW 2019, will be competing for the prestigious Gold Medal at Wigmore Hall on 18th July 2025. Congratulations are also in order for Julian Chan, OW 2018, who has been awarded the ROSL Collaborative Piano Prize 2025. Julian, a Malaysian pianist, performed beautifully with cellist Hugh Mackay during the competition. Both Maddie and Julian have graced our Rising Stars series this academic year, and we couldn’t be prouder. Lastly, a round of applause must go to Meggie Murphy, OW 2019, for winning the Phillip Jones Memorial Prize for an outstanding brass player. We were delighted to welcome Meggie back to School during British Trombone Society Day in February. We can’t wait to see these incredible young musicians continue to soar.
