Clare Teal masterclass
On Thursday 6th March we were so lucky to have Clare Teal not only give a fabulous Maestro concert with pianist Jason Rebello but also offer a two-hour vocal masterclass with four brilliant singers. Emma L, Barty H, William P and Hester W presented their stylings of ‘S Wonderful, I Won’t Dance, Come Fly With Me and My Way. Clare transformed these performances, encouraging pupils to perform with much more character and swagger, as well as helping with lots of stylistic interpretative details. These pupils then took these invigorated performances into the recent Studio Orchestra concert (15th March) with full big band and strings.
