Hauser and Wirth trip
On Friday 21st March the Year 7 – 9 Art Scholars were given the opportunity to visit Hauser and Wirth, Bruton, to see the current exhibition, ‘An Uncommon Thread’. The exhibition features the work of 10 contemporary artists and ‘highlights the transformative power of unconventional mediums in evoking personal and collective memories’. The scholars spent time discussing the different narratives, mediums and thought provoking outcomes with Eleanor, the Hauser and Wirth Learning Coordinator. As always, the Art Scholars impressed with their outstanding level of enthusiasm, creativity, engagement and endeavour.
The exhibition continues until 21st April 2025.
