Confirmation

27th April was the Sunday following Easter and a fitting occasion for our annual School Confirmations. This took place within the morning Cathedral Eucharist and was attended by our boarding community along with the regular Cathedral congregation and guests of those being confirmed. It was a service full of rich symbol and beauty, as the confirmands (Rose K and Jemima A in Year 8, Austin W in Year 7 and James M in Year 9 pictured with Bishop Michael and Mr Dine) publicly committed to their personal journey of faith in the presence of so much support. The music provided by the choir and instrumentalists, joyful presence of Bishop Michael and sacred setting all combined to make this a meaningful occasion for many.
