Aniela performs Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with Mid-Somerset Orchestra
On Saturday evening 10th May, Aniela J (Upper Sixth) played the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto in Strode Theatre with the Mid-Somerset Orchestra. Aniela not only bowled over the audience, but also the orchestra, who commented on her exceptional playing and utter professionalism. Aniela’s parents travelled all the way from Poland to see her as well as friends supporting her from School.
Mr Brink, Deputy Director of Music, comments, “I’m delighted that Aniela had the opportunity to play this extremely challenging concerto with orchestra for the first time. Aniela’s playing was staggering, so refined and so expressive, but also so sensitive to what the orchestra needed.”
