WSMC outreach trip
Year 10 Specialist Musicians took part in two fantastic outreach visits as part of the Wells Specialist Music Certificate (WSMC), visiting St Joseph and St Teresa’s School and St Cuthbert’s Infant School.
Our pupils shared their musical skills with children in Years 2 and 3, leading fun and engaging sessions that introduced a range of instruments and musical activities. They performed their own arrangements, explained how their instruments work and involved the younger pupils in a variety of rhythm and singing games. The sessions were lively and inclusive, with lots of smiles and enthusiastic participation from the children. It was a great opportunity for our pupils to build confidence, develop leadership skills and connect with the wider community through music.
A big well done to all the Year 10 musicians involved, who represented the School brilliantly and created a memorable experience for everyone who took part!
