Millfield Physics Olympics
Eight brilliant Year 7 pupils – Lucy W, George O, Thomas S, Oscar D, Celine K, Arnold T, Ottilie G, and Megan B – represented Wells at the Millfield Physics Olympics, and what a day it was! From oscillating beanbags to Jenga bridge-building, fuse resistance puzzles to a cargo boat challenge, and a brain-bending Fermi question quiz – the event was packed with serious fun. These team challenges demanded quick thinking, collaboration, and both logical and lateral problem-solving skills. Our pupils rose to the challenge with enthusiasm and energy, showing grit and determination throughout. They threw themselves into every task and did Wells proud with their engagement, teamwork, and love of learning. A fabulous event that truly stretched minds and teamwork to the limit – we’re already looking forward to next year!
