Visit from Woodwind doubler Sally MacTaggart
We were joined by Woodwind multi-instrumentalist Sally MacTaggart who led an insightful class introducing pupils to the challenges of performing on several instruments in one part which is very common in West End and theatre work. Sally brought along some parts so that pupils could have a go and discuss how to deal with changing instruments and styles very quickly. Sally teaches on the RWCMD doubling course and she performs regularly in a variety of touring and theatre shows on clarinet, flute, oboe and saxophones.
