University of Cambridge Chemistry Challenge
Over the summer we received the results of the University of Cambridge’s St Catharine’s College Chemistry Challenge.
Mrs Gray, Head of Chemistry, comments: “I’m incredibly proud of our Lower Sixth chemists who rose to the challenge of this year’s Cambridge Chemistry Challenge – a rigorous national competition that stretches even the most able pupils beyond the A level syllabus. A special congratulations to Ethan C, who achieved a Gold award, placing him in the top 10% of over 14,800 students nationwide. Ellie A was awarded Silver, and Natalie D, Goldie L, Ethan K, and Adelaide K all earned Copper awards – a fantastic achievement that reflects both their curiosity and determination. Well done to everyone who took part – you approached the challenge with real enthusiasm and resilience. I’m excited to see where your passion for Chemistry will take you next.”
