Ian Bousfield masterclass
Ian Bousfield, ex-Principal Trombone of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, professor of Trombone at the University of the Arts in Bern & the Royal Academy of Music, gave a highly inspirational masterclass to senior Brass pupils. Ian shared his insights into preparing one of the most demanding concertos written for Brass, which he performed this week in Spain, and gave our pupils lots of help and advice in preparing for their forthcoming solo performances and auditions. It was a truly brilliant way to start the new academic year for our Brass players.
