Wells Community Network assembly
Pupils in our Prep School were delighted to welcome Cllr Philip Welch to their assembly. Formerly the 647th Mayor of Wells and now Chair of the Wells Community Network, Cllr Welch gave an illuminating talk about the wide-ranging and vital roles volunteers play in the Wells community, and took time to answer thoughtful questions from the children. With the Wells Food Festival taking place this weekend and the world-famous Wells Carnival just around the corner, we hope our pupils will take the opportunity to show their appreciation for these wonderful community members.
